CATS & More

Ours cats are part of our family. We treated and talked to them as if they are our siblings. It's my fathers passion and love for these feline creatures that brought us together as one big happy family. They are no longer animals but family and I want you all to meet them.

This is Missy (as named by  our little girl neighbor)  The most loyal mother cat of all times. She is been with us for 4 years now. We love her so much.

This is Princess, the most beautiful of all our cats. She is so sweet but you should never leave her alone in the kitchen because she will never fail to sabotage the dish for meal time.

This is Kuya, the loner. He don't want attention and loves to be alone. We barely see him play with other cats.

"My Stranger Husband"-Story...Salt & Pepper (Break-Up Stories & Beyond) Part 2

I will be telling 5 different stories of how two people who are totally in love decided to end their story.

“My Stranger Husband”

Last night, I was stricken by lightning that I couldn’t hold on the pain until this morning. Andrei and I have been married for two years. We’re happy couple and we spent time together whenever his free from work (he works abroad). Everything goes well with our relationship. Every time where together it’s just as if we just first met. My world revolves around him and our future plans.

Not unless last night… Andrei was sent to the hospital because he collapsed, just then I’ve learned that he had a stage 4 cancer. There also I met Elisa, his wife for 5 years. They were married in America.

I felt numb and I want to die right there and then. The most ironic part was Elisa’s knowledge of Andrei’s relationship with me. My love for Andrei is beyond measure but I’ve broke up with him in front of Elisa. I cried a lot because he lied to me and he’s dying too.  The pain strained me to drift in forever sleep but I will bear this for a while. I’ll just go home and heal myself…

Unanswered Prayer

I prayed that God will give me a beautiful house and a nice car. It seems so reachable cause God owns all this things on Earth but I never received an answer. I'm totally disappointed and ended up losing hope & faith. I see life in a most weary manner.

I thought life just go on as it is. One evening, a young lady came to me and said "Madam, have you seen that tall building with beautiful lights." I was stunned and followed her pointing finger. I felt very nervous. How can you see a tall building in this side of the town. All I can see is darkness and little light from post of the road side. " My dear, I haven't seen any. Will you stop making fun of me" My little bit annoyed reply. "No, there is a building there and I am the owner" she said smiling. "Okey, fine you're just daydreaming!" I continued walking. The girl hold my hand and said "Madam, I'm just making my dreams into life and I will do my best to make it realize. I just don't want to pray, I work to make my prayers and dreams come true. I hope to see you when my building will be open" she said and walk towards the long dim lighted road and left me thinking what have I done all these years...

When life is not quite on my side, I will always run to the place where many will search for me. Bantayan Island is an island away but it never stops me from going. I might have a home but I will come back to the place where part of my blood belongs.

3 Answers to my Prayer

When I was young, I asked God to give me someone to love. He replied "No, I want you to bloom my little one." I felt disappointed but I followed Him.

Time goes by, I found the right someone to love. I asked God if he is the one. He replied "No young lady, he will never be the right one." I've listened to him once more.

I've reached my dreams. I've never search for someone to love. God came to me one day and He said, "My daughter, just wait for a while because the someone you will love is already ready with a smile."
